Cavs Coach 2019

Cavaliers Finish 15th in NBA Eastern Conference

19-46 Record in 2018-19 Season

Finishing in 15th place in the NBA Eastern Conference, the Cleveland Cavaliers concluded their 2018-19 season with a disappointing 19-46 record. This marked a decline from the previous season, where they finished 14th in the same conference with a 19-63 record.

Coaching Changes

In response to the team's struggles, the Cavaliers made a significant coaching change in February 2020, parting ways with head coach John Beilein. Beilein, who had previously coached at the University of Michigan, had been with the team for only one season.

The Cavaliers have yet to announce who will replace Beilein as head coach for the 2019-20 season. However, they have completed their coaching staff with the appointment of several assistant coaches, including Mike Longabardi, Dan Geriot, and Antonio Lang.

Looking Ahead

The Cavaliers will be hoping to improve their performance in the upcoming season under new leadership. With a young and talented roster, including All-Star forward Kevin Love and promising guard Collin Sexton, they have the potential to turn things around.

The team will have a chance to prove themselves starting with the 2019-20 preseason schedule, and fans will be eagerly watching to see how they fare under the new coaching regime.
